Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (INDIA). AMIE is one of the grades of Membership of IE (I). The degree of AMIE is deemed as Equivalent to degree of engineering. (either BE/ B.Tech) of any University which is a member of Association of Universities in India. The main feature of AMIE degree is that it can be achieved by those who are serving in the industry or industrial organizations and still want to pursue academic career.
